This policy applies to any and all sales made on www.altonmodlin.com or any of its subsidies and is all encompassing and final.
- Items for Sale and validity of this policy
- All items listed for sale are sold for the profit of myself, the author, as well as the publisher, Xlibris. At this time, I am only offering signed copies of First Strike: Zero Dawn. This policy will be updated as required for future purchases.
- This policy is the final authority and is valid in all situations.
- Products are offered based on availability:
- Books are ordered from the publisher on an as-needed basis. This may effect shipping as books have to be ordered so that they can then be shipped out to you.
- Based on how quickly the publisher can produce the requested amount of books and send them to me, it may cause delays in getting them from me to you. Unfortunately, this is a downfall of the industry as a whole. Although it can’t be promised, I will try to have a 2-3 day turn around time once I have copies of the book to send.
- Purchasing of copies to be signed
- You, the consumer, is always responsible for purchasing the copy of First Strike: Zero Dawn and any other entities.
- The cost of the book is built into the purchase cost on the website.

- Refunds
- All sales of signed copies are FINAL. There is no refund offered on a signed edition of First Strike: Zero Dawn.
- Shipping & Handling
- Shipping generally runs around $10 to get it anywhere in the United States, which is the standard shipping charge for all signed edition copies to locations within the United States.
- If shipping runs under the $10 for your area, you’ll be issued a partial refund for the remainder.
- If shipping is more than $10, you will not be charged extra for the shipping over $10.
- For example, if total shipping to your address is $7.35, you’ll be issued a partial refund of $2.65 (10 – 7.35 = 2.65).
- For example, if total shipping to your address is $11.45, you’ll only be charged the initial $10 for S&H.
- For shipping outside of the United States, you’ll be charged $20 for the S&H.
- Same policy as within the US applies: anything less than $20 and you’ll receive a partial refund. Anything over $20 and there’s no additional charge.
- For example, if your shipping is $19.10, you’ll receive a partial refund of 90¢ ($0.90).
- For example, if your shipping is $21.57, there’s no additional charge for S&H.
- Same policy as within the US applies: anything less than $20 and you’ll receive a partial refund. Anything over $20 and there’s no additional charge.
- Shipping rates are a per item basis. Meaning if you wish for seven signed copies, you’ll need to provide shipping for each book. I will, as much as possible, condense shipping and refund the difference.

- Things not exclusively covered by this policy
- Ultimately, anything not covered exclusively by this policy will be left to the discretion of myself, the author.
